BIAS community sentiment, market prices, and product examples describe different things. Read their source, timestamp, and availability label together.
BIAS community sentiment
An outlook is one account's bullish, bearish, or neutral view of an instrument. The current method allows one active outlook per account and instrument.
An explicit cast starts a rolling 24-hour period. Casting again replaces or renews that account's outlook for another 24 hours. An account can change direction or withdraw its outlook. Expiry follows elapsed time from the latest cast, not an exchange session or a daily closing bell.
For an active instrument, each directional share is the number of eligible active outlooks in that direction divided by all eligible active bullish, bearish, and neutral outlooks for the instrument. Expired outlooks and accounts with an active sentiment restriction are excluded. An outlook must belong to an existing profile. Percentages may be rounded for display. A tie for the largest share is an Even split.
The count represents participating accounts, not verified individual people, positions, trading volume, or the market as a whole. An account can contribute to more than one instrument. Adding counts across instruments therefore gives market votes, not a unique-person count.
Where Small sample appears, it means fewer than ten active outlooks. That label does not make a larger sample representative or predictive. No votes yet means there is no active sample; it does not mean neutral sentiment.
A snapshot is a reading at the displayed time. Counts can change as accounts vote, withdraw, or their outlooks expire. The snapshot time is not a guarantee of continuous updates.
Where a cross-market summary appears, it averages the directional shares of markets with votes equally. It is not weighted by each market's participant count. Empty markets are excluded.
An aggregate distribution does not identify each voter. It should not be described as anonymous data: an outlook is associated with an app account to apply the voting rules. Separately published posts may reveal a person's view.

A market appearing in a directory or watchlist does not promise a quote, chart history, or every contract or token with a similar symbol. Check the instrument's name and source before comparing values.
Crypto source timestamps describe the provider's observation. A later fetch does not make an older price current. A retained last-known price may still be shown when a refresh fails; read the warning and timestamp before using it. A saved asset outside the current top 20 can remain visible with a notice that its saved quote has not been refreshed.
Labels that matter
- Snapshot: a reading at a stated time, not a streaming feed.
- Delayed: data is not being represented as real-time.
- Stale / last known: older data remains available, but freshness has not been confirmed.
- Unavailable: a usable result is missing. It does not mean zero.
- Preview / demo / example: illustrative content, not live activity.
These labels are not interchangeable. A recently fetched delayed quote can still lag the market. An unavailable sentiment result is different from a confirmed empty sample.
